Your diabetes diet is simply a healthy-eating plan that will help you control your blood sugar. There are no quality studies showing that a carbohydrate-rich diet is beneficial. They have become receptive to several options regarding diets for diabetics and now warmly recommend a low-carbohydrate diet as a first choice. The food contains almost exclusively energy from sugar and starches, things that are broken down to simple sugars in the stomach. That's OK.
